Begonia Foliosa

Begonia Foliosa has delicately small leaves, each the size of a fingernail, but despite the size of the leaves, with the right care this species can grow into a gigantic and structurally beautiful plant. In fact in can take over a space if you let it.

This species is often sold as a 'terrarium' plant, as it does appreciate a humid environment, however, as it can grow so large, I would always prefer to grow this species as a houseplant, but taking care to avoid the combination of a very dry environment, coupled with dry substrate and direct sunlight, as this may be the recipe for leaf drop!

Growing Conditions

• Houseplant OR Terrarium plant
• Bright indirect light
• 50% humidity minimum (recommended) may appreciate higher humidity than this when a smaller immature plant

All plants are home grown by me, propagated from my own collection, thus I can guarantee plants are pest and disease free.

Photos are indicative of the size and quality of the plant you will receive but not necessarily the exact plant, unless stated. Please do feel free to contact me if you do wish to select your plant before purchase.
